The 2012 Dis-Chem Pharmacies Half-Marathon taking place on Sunday 15th January celebrates the 11th anniversary of this premier half marathon in Gauteng. It once again takes place at the Bedfordview Virgin Active Club, heralding the start of the New Year's running activities.

The route for 2012 is the same as the new route introduced for the 2010 event, a slightly more difficult run than the previous years' events. The organizational efficiency of this event continues to receive accolades year-on-year, and the high value goodie bags well received by all entrants.

Once again the ever popular Rehidrat Sport 5 Km DASH will be run in conjunction with the main event / half marathon
